Our business is dedicated to providing locally grown, organic specialty fresh mushrooms, spawn, and fruiting kits at a reasonable rate and making them readily available to our community.

At Hill City Mushrooms, Brandon Sharp is the driving force behind every step of the operation. Starting as an avid forager, Brandon's curiosity led him to discover that mushrooms could be cloned. After successfully cloning his first find and diving into the process, he was hooked. Now 5 years later, he cultivates over 25 varieties of gourmet mushrooms with the same hands-on passion and dedication that sparked his journey, ensuring the highest quality and freshness for every customer.   • I first heard about Hill City mushrooms on Facebook. Someone sent me an invite to like the page and then I became very interested in the mushroom process watching pictures and videos pop up often. They post a LOT of the ins and outs of how they get mushrooms and show a lot of the sterilization and growth practices. I’ve haven’t seen a business that will help you Do It Yourself and even send you with a kit of your own. So that was neat to me! But, since I don’t want to be a mushroom farmer, I watched the page and went to a farmer’s market! 3 times to be exact because the mushrooms are amazing! So many different ways to cook them and so many varieties available. Even tinctures, seasoning powders, and teas. In a world of processed food, this business is really geared around healthy, natural living & eating and I’ll be a lifetime customer! Excited to see how they grow in size.

It was so simple to follow the instructions and voila I hade a huge lions mane just growing in my kitchen! The instructions provided were not only clear, they were hand drawn and super fun!
